The Firebird Docs sub-project has published the Firebird 2.0 version of the Quick Start Guide. It is available on-line as a web document or you can download it from our FTP area as a PDF file. Thanks to Paul Vinkenoog for his stupendous effort in getting this update ready for the release of Firebird 2.0.

The Firebird Project proudly announces the release of Firebird 2.0 at the opening session of the fourth annual Firebird Conference in Prague, Czech Republic. Binaries are available now for 32-bit Windows, 32-bit Linux and 64-bit Linux (AMD64 and EM64T).
