Activities for period
- Redesign of connection properties handling in Jaybird + experiments to validate
- Working on new asynchronous Firebird driver for Java using the R2DBC API (r2dbc-firebird)
- Basic framework for connecting using v12, v13 and v15 protocol is now in place (including encryption and compression)
- Other issues worked on: JDBC-633, JDBC-634, JDBC-635, JDBC-636
Planned/expected activities
- Finish redesign of connection properties handling
- Jaybird 5 development
- Jaybird 4 bugfixes; improve or update Firebird 4 compatibility
- Working on firebird-r2dbc
