Alexander Potapchenko has officially accepted a proposal from the Firebird Foundation to resume development of the ODBC driver. Work has begun on the completion of the previously stalled V2.0 "RC2" release. The Firebird team is pleased to announce the release of Firebird 2.5. Release kits for Firebird 2.5 are now making their way to the Sourceforge mirror servers. The 32-bit and 64-bit kits are available for Linux and Windows. Update October 06, 2010: The MacOSX/Darwin 32-bit and 64-bit Intel packages are on their way to the mirror servers.
