Description: Returns an angle's cosine. The argument must be given in radians.
Result type: DOUBLE PRECISION
Syntax:
COS (angle)
Any non-
NULLresult is – obviously – in the range [-1, 1].
If the external function
COS is declared in your database, it will override the internal
function. To make the internal function available, DROP or ALTER the external
function (UDF).
