The Firebird Project consists of a several divisions and sub-projects corresponding to its areas of development:

The global coordination and management is performed by the Firebird Administration Group. This group also acts as the
primary public contact for any outsider willing to communicate with the project.
The project hosts its main resources on
GitHub, all the released binaries as well as the corresponding source code are available from there. The mailing lists can be found on either
SourceForge Firebird Groups or
Yahoo! Groups.
The development is supported by the
Firebird Foundation. Also, the Foundation takes care of the legal interests of the Firebird Project as a whole and is the owner of the "Firebird" trademark.
